First EVER Zoom Virtual NHA Annual Meeting

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced all of us to make some changes in our daily lives.  Masks, sanitizers and social distancing has all come to the forefront since the outbreak in March.  Some have been more effected than others but we have learned to adapt and go on with our daily lives.

Thus, is the case with the NHA Board of Directors.  Much discussion has taken place over the past few months as they tried to develop a plan to conduct our 125^th Anniversary Annual Meeting face-to-face.  But New York State quarantine guidelines eventually made a live meeting impossible.  And so, they are doing the next best thing and conducting a virtual event!

The specifics of the meeting are still being established but here is what we know:

•      The virtual meeting will last 60-90 minutes
•      Important NHA business will be presented including financial and budget reports,     abbreviated Executive Director and USFEC reports, nominating committee recommendations, announcement of the Haymaker and Claude Riley Award winners, and presentation of the gavel to our incoming President.
•    The 125^th Anniversary Commemorative Book will be unveiled!
•    Members will be encouraged to speak on this call and voting will take place.

In addition, a Special Convention Hay There will be published in October and will include committee reports, complete ED and USFEC reports, financial reports, membership graphs and other information that will keep all members informed of the happenings of the NHA.
